I’ve just registered for camp. What are my next steps?
My child attended camp last year. Do I need to fill his/her “Health History Form” and “Authorized Grown Ups Form” again?
Can I request a buddy/friend to be in my child’s group?
Do I need to send a lunch with my camper?
My child is a picky eater. What if they won’t eat what camp prepares?
What should I do for lunch is my camper has a dietary restriction or food allergy?
What is Camp DaKaNi’s refund policy?
Can I check my child out after Council Fire/Open House on Fridays during day camp?
What if my child is going to be absent?
Help! I’m locked out of my camp account and can’t log in!
After registering, you should receive and email confirming your registration. The email will prompt you to log back in to your account using your email address and the password you set up. Please log back in and scroll down to the “Forms and Documents” link on your home page. From there, fill out the “Health History Form” and “Authorized Grown-Ups Form.” These forms MUST be completed before you attend camp.
All the information on the forms will be saved from last year. Please log back in, review the forms, update information if needed, and submit the form.
Yes, you may request ONE buddy for camp. This person must request your camper back and cannot differ in age by more than one year. We make every effort to fulfill buddy requests. Any request that does not meet the correct requirements will not be considered. Remember, camp is about making new friends and having new experiences.
No, Camp DaKaNi will supply all meals. Monday and Wednesday is sack lunch style. Tuesday and Thursday is cookout day. Friday is a hot dog lunch for campers and their families who attend Council Fire and Open House.
Please note on the camper’s Health History Form that the child is a picky eater so we can notify their counselor. A peanut butter and jelly sandwich meal alternative will always be available to children who will not eat the regular lunch. If you would rather send your child with a lunch, you may do so.
Please indicate allergy or dietary needs on the Health History form. The more you inform us, the better we can prepare our staff and make needed arrangement. Please feel free to contact the office staff with any concerns you may have.
You must cancel your registration at least two weeks before camp for a full refund. After two weeks, you can use your tuition funds to reregister for a later session or donate to the Send a Child to Camp Fund.
Yes, you may check your child out by visiting the camp office at any time. However, we encourage campers to stay so they can participate in afternoon activities, like the water fight.
