The CAT program is designed for middle school students (at least 11 years old and entering the 6 grade) to learn how to be Counselor Aide at camp. During this week long program led by Camp DaKaNi staff, youth learn important teambuilding, leadership, child care and outdoor skills. Youth in the CAT program will still participate in scheduled activities: kayaking, archery, zipline, rock climbing, challenge course, outdoor cooking and the frog and turtle race. Upon completion of the CAT program, youth are eligible to attend camp as a Counselor Aide. A sack lunch is provided on Monday and Wednesday.
